Royal Hotel,     Ross on Wye

Royal Hotel excellent choice, good value food and beer. Very long walk to the rooms. Other eating at the 'Kings Head' who had problems with steak and unusual meal at the local Ghurka restaurant.

Visit to Clear View Caves (Iron-age iron mine) Richard says the caves are too dark ! Now owned by a Forest of Dean 'Free Miner' for red pigment.
